Every Student, with the Gospel

India’s campuses are filled with vibrant and inquisitive young minds—the future of our churches, missions, and the nation. At UESI, we believe that reaching this strategic generation with the gospel is not optional—it is God-ordained and urgent. The Lord demonstrated the urgency of proclaiming the gospel and emphasized it before leaving this earth: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation” (Mk 16:15).

As a student movement, students are our heartbeat and evangelism is the lifeline. Our vision is clear: “Transformed students impacting the campuses and the nation as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.” We pursue this through three timeless steps: Pray, Plan, Present.

PRAY: Where the Mission is Conquered

Before we enter any campus, we must kneel—individually and as a fellowship—in intercession. Evangelism is spiritual warfare, and prayer must be our first weapon.

We pray for students searching for identity and meaning, for freedom from addictions and despair, for hearts to be softened, and for EU students to be raised up as witnesses. We pray for more labourers—students, graduates, and staff—to go where no one has yet heard the good news. Prayer is not a background task; it is where the mission begins and is often conquered—even before we step out.

PLAN: Vision-Driven Steps for Gospel Impact

Prayer fuels passion. Planning provides direction. In a distracted and confused world, gospel work must be intentional.

Spirit-led planning prepares us for lasting impact. We plan to identify unreached campuses, conduct prayer walks, start Evangelistic Bible Study (EBS) groups, strengthen existing EBS cells, train students for life-changing conversations, and execute much-needed outreach. In this process, graduates and staff play a vital role in mentoring, guiding, and supporting EU students without judgment.

PRESENT: Proclaiming the Gospel with Clarity and Compassion

Having prayed and planned, we GO—with love, humility, and boldness.

We don’t promote religion—we introduce students to a relationship with Jesus. We share hope, speak the truth in love, live authentic lives, and trust the Holy Spirit to transform hearts. The gospel, when presented clearly and compassionately, breaks strongholds and brings forth life.

Let’s Rise to the Call

As we observe July as the Month of Evangelism, let’s recommit ourselves to the mission. Let us be a movement that prays deeply, plans wisely, and presents the gospel joyfully.

“Gospel to every student. A Student Witnessing Group in every college. A Graduate Supporting Group at every EU centre.”

This is not merely a slogan—this is our calling. The student community is waiting. May we rise—not in our strength, but in God’s power —to bring Jesus to every campus of our nation.
