John Samuel

National President, UESI

It is my joy to introduce the new President of UESI, Mr. John Samuel who took charge from 28th July 2024.

Mr. John Samuel worked in senior positions in the Government of India, including Chief Post Master General and Member of the Postal Services Board. He is the man behind the development and building of the Speed Post in India. He has served as a consultant for the United Nation’s Universal Postal Union, in Maldives, Bhutan and Thailand for five years. In his professional career in the civil service, he stood for the highest standards of character and competence. Ever since his studies at St Xavier’s College, Tirunelveli, he has been involved in UESI ministry. It was his mentor Prof. Ivan Balasingh and the college Principal Fr. Varkey who inspired and impacted his life to aspire for civil services and make a lasting impact on the nation.

He runs Civil Services Mentoring Academy to bring many committed young people into the civil services to govern the nation with noble values. Chartered accountant by profession, he is the founder President of Transform Consulting focusing on leadership development, Fintech, strategy and transformation. He hosts Leadership Round Table every Sunday, to help key leaders to learn leadership principles from the Bible and live them out in secular spaces. God has given him the vision to raise a large number of committed leaders in universities and corporates, _ civil services and parliament, missions and Christian organisations, to influence and impact the nation with God’s values and standards.

He is based in Delhi. He is married to Ramona and they are blessed with two daughters Ms. Elga (married to Vinpaul) presently settled in UK and Ms. Tina, a Mechatronics Engineer working in Chennai. They have been actively involved in shaping young lives to impact the nations.

As members of UESI movement, may I urge you to join me in uniting our hearts and minds to pray for our dear brother John Samuel as he gives leadership to the movement.
