The unprecedented situation of the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the whole world, leaving many lives in agony, hopelessness, and fear of death.
However, God is so good and faithful all the time. In the midst of Lockdown, as a UESI family, we could once again witness God’s wonders in Goa ministry. We had been praying for the last three months to have the “Young Graduates Orientation Programme (YGOP)” on 10th to 12th April 2020, in Goa. Unexpectedly, COVID-19 has shut down all activities around the world since March, including our planned YGOP. But miraculously, God has opened a way to have YGOP meeting online using ZOOM Application.. It is the unity of staff, graduates and students which made YGOP planning, the arrangement of resource persons, mobilization of participants, background work (Registration form & Zoom App. Purchase, etc.) to be successful within two days prior to the scheduled dates of YGOP. By the grace of God, we were greatly blessed with resource persons including Mr. Reji Koshy & Betsy Koshy from Pune, Dr. Matthew Jacob, Kerala, and Dr. Joseph John, Mumbai. We are indeed thankful to our dear resource persons for their availability and acceptance to deliver special sessions online. Special thanks to all Goa UESI committee members for taking a wonderful decision prayerfully, and opened YGOP meeting available for all other UESI believers from India and abroad. We had received 55 registrations from different states of India, including Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Haryana, Kerala, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. Also, it was our privilege to have the presence of IFES regional secretary. We appreciate all the participants for their zeal to learn all the sessions. Although we could not plan this meeting properly, but God has enabled us to have blessed sessions in this meeting. Also, by God’s grace we have not spent any amount for this meeting.
