The first ever Alumni Meet of NCMTC participants from Karnataka

It all began when one NCMTC alumnus Dr. Sheel Daniel got an idea of awakening the hidden potential in those who attended NCMTC. He shared it with like-minded leaders who are concerned about the declining student ministry and graduates involvement in Karnataka. This was aimed at motivating the energetic and dynamic leaders to impact their own campuses, society and church in Karnataka.

About 40 were identified from the year 2012 following, to gather together for this purpose. But, only 25 of them could make it.

The first day began with laying out the entire purpose behind organizing such a programme – a first of its kind in the state! Bro. Mahind, the Architect of PRISM opened our eyes to see who we are and exhorted us to be systematically equipped and be charged to work by asking ourselves “How effective are we?” Taking truths from 1 Peter 2:9-10 he stressed the need to develop a Sense of Belonging, having been set apart for a Purpose (2Tim2:21).

A Self Evaluation Questionnaire was handed by Bro. JSA Julius, Former President of UESI covering Personal Spiritual Discipline, ministry and in the area of testimony.

The State Secretary, Bro. Shankar Babu presented the current situation in the State among students and graduates. He stressed the need for workers and for more graduates to volunteer.

UESI Karnataka President, Bro. Ravi Antin outlined the Plan for the Year in Karnataka Ministry in the state. He highlighted the importance of developing an intimate relationship with God leading to various revelations from God.

Bro. Vijay Hebbal, former Director of AFC shared from the 3 questions our Risen Lord asked his disciple Peter and helped the participants to introspect our love for the Master.

A highlight of the programme was a very open time of sharing their experiences at CMTC and their progress in their personal lives and in ministry with tears of joy.

Bro. JSA Julius brought a final challenge from his own professional life and ministry experiences. All the participants rededicating themselves to the Lord and to the task ahead of them.

Contribution of office staff Sudharshan, Samuelrajan, KEGF Chairman Daniel Humanabad, Staff Santosh & John Vetrivel, Coordinator Theophilus & Ravishekhar and many others is highly appreciated.
