Tent Makers Meet 2017

Organized by Tent Makers Initiative (TMI)
Purpose: To re-equip and rejuvenate Tent-makers

The Tent Makers Meet 2017 was held from Nov 3-5, 2017 at Don Bosco Technical Institute, New Delhi. Around 50 Graduates, Students and Staff from 14 States and one Union Territory attended the Meet.

Though it was a very short Meet, the feedback obtained indicates that practically all who attended it went back refreshed with several resolutions. One of the delegates from Orissa commented that the programme was really encouraging and he was directly heading to Dehradun, Uttarakhand to look for opportunities there.

The Keynote address and a practical talk on Parenting was given by Br. Stephen Victor and the “Devotional talks” were taken by Br. Dinesh Patel from Dharamshala, H.P, while Br. Emmanuel Ratnaraj from Dehradun handled “Bible Expositions”.

We had good time of sharing our struggles as tentmakers in groups, which was followed by a time of prayer.
To ensure that the small children were not neglected, Sis. Agwang and her colleague (CEF staff from Delhi) engaged them with activities, Bible stories and songs.

God helped in each step of the Meet and met all our needs in spite of anxious moments regarding identifying the venue, availability of speakers, and finances. We hope that this Conference will give a fresh impetus to the establishment of the Word of God in our lives and give a new thrust to the UESI ministry in North Indian States.
Representation from different States
