The historic event – MP decentralization Consultation was held in Ideal School, at Bhopal on 8th and 9th of April’17. We praise God for all His wonderful deeds in the state of MP and thankful to all the people-students, graduates and staff who have laboured for student ministry. The consultation was attended by 80 delegates including students, graduates and staff from various places of the state along with national leaders (task group of six). It began with a welcome note of by Bro. Binu Jacob, the president of MPEGF.
Bro. C Julius led the morning Bible expositions from the book of Ezra and challenged us to give influential leadership to build the kingdom of God among university students in Madhya Pradesh. Bro, Jean Joseph presented students ministry in MP. Dr Arul Manohar took a session on UESI Constitution and the governance, Bro Selvadurai led a session on role of state committee, governance and organizational structure. Bro. Anand presented vision 2020 goals of MP, Bro Dwivedi presented SWOT analysis of the state ministry, Sis Hilda David led us in a time of prayer for the state needs, Bro Arpit presented the UESI policy paper on decentralization and Mr. Janga Yesobu presented the paper on seven phases for decentralization of MP. Bro Reji Daniel shared the Word on Paul’s strategy of the ministry from the books of Ephesians and Acts.
Along with the Consultation, we had state AGM on 9th from 1pm to 5 pm which 62 of students, graduates, and staff attended. Along with Secretarys’ and State in charge’s reports, we had time for Indore and Bhopal EU reports too. Bro. Anil, the treasurer of MP EGF, presented two budgets- Budget for decentralized state and non decentralized state. The budgets were accepted and passed by the members. It was a blessed time of reviewing the state ministry and plan for the future ministry in Madhya Pradesh. The AGM concluded with Dr. Arul Monohar’s encouraging words on the journey of Israelites with God.
