The Leadership training camp, Goa-2019 was held in Sister Rachel’s house from 31st Aug to 2nd Sept, 2019.It was a residential camp and students and graduates from various campuses across the state participated in it enthusiastically.

The students were enriched greatly by the blessed presence of the resource personnel and his wife from Kerala and Brother from Maharashtra. Subjects like discipleship, doctrine of salvation, evangelism, doctrine of scripture, GBS and PBS were taught by the speakers.

2/2 sessions were a blessing to many students as they found the right kind of guidance from their spiritual mentors.

Other sessions included singing, worship and prayer led by the students, Bible expositions, quiet time and evening devotions. UESI history was presented to the students by graduates. The UESI vision being to evangelize students and nurture them as disciples of Jesus Christ to serve church and society, aims to bring other students to Christ, have fellowship with them, raise a testimony in college campuses and help students discover and obey Christ’s will.

The participants were asked to prepare a PBS and conduct a GBS in smaller groups. This session was a teaching and learning session as it helped the graduates point out some areas to improve which the student took note of. This exercise helped students to build their confidence, to start and end well, how to ask questions and many others affirmative aspects required to lead a group discussion.

Through the doctrinal sessions, the participants were once again assured of their salvation in Christ through various references from the Bible.
We also experienced delicious home-made food. Due to limited facilities and the monsoons, we enjoyed indoor games.

LTC has led commitments for the ministry arise in every student present there. All participants decided to study the Word daily and seriously and actively practice personal evangelism in their campuses. Students and graduates had a great time together in this prayerful and godly atmosphere.

Goa ICEU extends its wholehearted gratitude to all those who supported this event with prayers and finance. Sincere thanks to well-wishers too. Please continue to pray for the ministry in Goa.
