Friends of UESI in AUSTRALIA!!


In May the UESI Friends living in Australia organised two special meetings – one in Sydney (South Wales) and the other in Melbourne (Victoria) with the aim of bringing together UESI friends and to brief them about UESI work.

The Friends of UESI Australia (FUESIA) Sydney had their Annual Dinner on 10th May 2017. This was also the 10th year of formally forming FUESIA.
The work of UESI and the highlights of the ministry in 2016-2017 was presented through a PPT by Mr. Enoch Nagabyrava, with a special emphasis on the opportunity to take part in developing a Study Centre in Indore, MP. Howard Spencer of AFES encouraged from the Word and the importance of getting involved in Students Ministry. The participants could recollect the blessings received from UESI during their student days.

“Friends of UESI Australia” in Victoria celebrated 10th year anniversary on 20th of May, 2017 at Clayton church of Christ in Melbourne. Bro. David T Christopher who is the FUESIA National EC President along with his wife Sis. Udaya attended the program as the chief guests from Sydney. Friends and supporters of UESI ministry attended the programme. There were more than 100 people!Bro. Solomon Gajjala introduced FUESIA in brief to the participants. Getting to know how the groups have sustained over the period of 10 years was quite encouraging.

A video about impact of UESI ministry in students and graduates’ lives was played. Bro. Daniel Indla, FUESIA Treasurer presented the financial update recollecting how God has been faithful in raising a target amount of 50000 AUD for financial year 2016-2017. Bro. David briefly expounded from the Word of God, talked about the vision, mission and journey of UESI over 60 years, objectives of FUESIA,UESI ministry highlights for 2016-2017 and how we are committed to supporting the UESI ministry in India. He also highlighted the key projects undertaken by UESI. Bro. Emmanuel Ravuri delivered vote of thanks. While stressing upon UESI’s faith policy, he encouraged voluntary contributions. The meeting ended with delicious fellowship dinner prepared by Bro.Titus and team.
