The first Hindi CMTC of this year commenced at UESI student centre, Ranchi from 1st -15th June’17 with theme “Equipped to Entrust” where 16 students and 3 coordinators participated from Bihar, Jharkhand, UP, MP, Jammu, Chhattisgarh and Odisha. The campers were geared up with key note address by camp director Br. Tapan Kumar Singh. As the journey began, they gradually went deep into the Word, had debates asked questions and learnt to build their lives on Biblical perspectives. Doctrinal sessions were led by director and our staff Br. Rajkumar Senapathy. The skill of digging the word of God during PBS, and GBS led by Br. Barun Collet and Sis. Sumita Collet put up their confidence to lead effective group Bible study.
The practical sessions gave answers to a myriad of questions on how to live with integrity. Students made commitments to set their priorities right and live a better life – to be excellent in all that they do and step in according to God’s will in daily living. Sessions on UESI History, Aims, Core Values & Distinctives, EU committee functions and the responsibilities of the various committee members were effectively handled by our Staff workers. .
The devotions by Br. Reji K Daniel, Br. Vijay Kanth and Br. Tapan challenged the campers to ponder on their roles in God’s mission, God’s call to be a servant leader , having a vision to live for Christ as ones approved by God. (2 Timothy 2:15).
Below are some of the decisions made by the campers:
“I will prepare my successors to continue the mission which God has begun through me.” –John Jose, Lucknow.
“To be a living example for the world in speech, life, faith, and sharing the Gospel” Jenny , Jammu.
