CMTC Kotagiri 3

I recently came across an interesting quote on leadership by Craig Groeschel and it goes like this, “Don’t just delegate tasks to the next generation. If you delegate tasks, you created followers. Instead, delegate authority to create leaders.” And when we train Student Leaders through National CMTC we aim to do the same. We Equip them with God’s word which is the ultimate authority over a believer’s life and conduct so that they’d entrust it to others in their campuses.

In this year’s CMTC K3 we had a total of 31 participants consisting 28 Students leaders and 3 Coordinators from 12 States. By God’s mercies the students had a great time learning from His Word through His choice servants. While we all enjoyed the weather and food at Highfield, Students were treated with a mixed diet of Doctrines, Devotions, PBS, GBS, Practical Talks and UESI’s Handbook sessions. They also had their Quiet Time every day and were taught various aspects of Christian Life through games and activities. Group activities, 2 by 2 & assignments helped Students, Graduate volunteers and Staffs to build rapport with each other. I’m extremely thankful to God as the Director of this camp for giving us a batch of Student Leaders who were very serious, punctual, attentive and teachable during the training. And that’s not all, the Lord also graciously met all the needs of the camp.
Here are some testimonials from Students about CMTC:

“In CMTC I was introduced to some life transformational topics, especially PBS, now I see myself growing not only spiritually but holistically” – BinonTeji, J&K EU.

“When I was told that CMTC would change the course of my life, I never believed that fully. But now I am glad that I could attend the camp. It is one of the most memorable camps I’ve attended because of the PBS, GBS and Devotional sessions” – Jyothi Elizabeth V, RIT EU Kottayam.
“In CMTC I got to clear all the misunderstandings that I had on the doctrines that l held. It is really a life changing experience” -Charlene Mutambanengwe,

Greater Noida EU.
Now, it is also a reality that not everyone who attends CMTC does remain in the Students Ministry as Graduates or any other Ministry per se after their graduation. But I beseech each one of you reading this report to pray to the Lord that all the 31 participants would engage themselves in the Lord’s service through Students’ Ministry, Graduates’ Ministry, Church Ministry, Colleges and Marketplaces to impact the Church and our Nation India.
I’d like to thank the UESI National Training Dept Secretary, CMTC Coordinator, Staff and Graduate families who were part of the K3 Core Team. Appreciation goes out to UESI Highfield staff and workers as well.

Let us pray that all the participants be filled with the fullness of God.
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Santhosh Kumar, Bangalore,CMTC K3 Director.
